While I was searching for a garage to work on my cabs, I found a place so huge that we
were able to re-invent the company and usher it into the Twenty-first Century. It was the old school district bus terminal
and it had two large buildings on it. One eight bay garage and another 10,000 sf office building sitting on almost 4
acres of land. Harlem Cab Company, dba Austin Cab Company moved into its new home on September 15, 1997.
We changed the color to White and started attracting better drivers. We also attracted
better dispatchers, because the building was in a compound and offered a higher level of security for our employees.
Our building has video and audio surveillance to help protect all on-property assets.
Austin Cab Company went from a little company to a perception of strength practically
overnight.
We lease out space to Star Shuttle & Charter, that operates bus & shuttle charters.
We have really grown and I am proud of my company.
